Dr. Mohammed is currently Assistant Professor and Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Qassim University. His scientific career started after completing his Master’s degree and PhD in Pharmacy from University College London and the University of Strathclyde respectively. By attending two universities, Dr. Mohammed was able to maximise on different research facilities, industry placements and networking opportunities throughout his learning journey. His experiences allowed him to extensively develop his research and clinical skills, preparing him to apply it on an academic level back home.
Dr. Mohammed undertook his clinical training at University College Hospital in London, which had a profound impact on him. He led many clinical projects and public campaigns promoting the safe usage of medicines in society whilst working as a senior clinical pharmacist for institutions like Saudi Aramco Medical Organisation and Prince Sultan Cardiac Center. He also teaches undergraduate courses on pharmacy and research methodology, drawing on his experiences in the UK and the quality teaching he gained.
