Refunds
A 100% refund or a place on the next scheduled test will be given if the British Council has to cancel or postpone an examination for any reason.
If an examinations candidate gives written notice of withdrawal before the final registration date of the exam, as published by the British Council, a full refund will be given, less an administrative fee of SAR 210.
If notice is given less than one full week before the scheduled date of the exam no refund will be given. An exception to this rule is a withdrawal or absence on medical grounds. Candidates able to produce a medical certificate will receive a refund less SAR 210 administrative fee.
Fees cannot be transferred to a later exam period or from one level of examination to another.
Other changes
- Candidates can request to change the date or time of the speaking test. Contact the British Council to apply for a change of orals. Such changes will only be possible until the end of the current examination speaking window, on condition that the speaking test is conducted more than once within the same examination session.
- The date and the venue (examination centre) of the written and listening parts of the examination cannot be changed.
