Leadership for women programme

Leadership for Women is a programme developed by Durham University in participation with the British Council. It equips women with the leadership skills that are necessary to advance their careers to decision making positions.

After running Springboard Women’s Development programme in the Arab world for more than five years and engaging with women from all walks of life, with all sorts of professional and nonprofessional backgrounds, the British Council is now offering a specific Leadership Programme for women who are looking to acquire more prominent leadership positions in their societies.

In collaboration with Durham Business School, the British Council is now offering a series of three-day leadership programmes for women.

Who is it for?

The programme is for professional women with few years of work experience. It is unique because not only does it cover main leadership skills, but it also addresses the effect of gender on leadership.
