Osamah Al Awwam is a Barista who graduated from London Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Law and International Business. He has become one of the most well-known Saudi youth in the field of coffee.
He says ‘I started my very first working experience at the tender age of 16 as a clerical assistant at a small estate agency in Central London, moving upwards to more challenging roles both in education and professional services as I grew up.I hold a BA Hons. in Business Law & International Business from the London Metropolitan University and have been blessed to work with some of the most exciting names in the services sector in industries such as real estate advisory, energy, banking, and hospitality.
I started The Roasting House back in 2013 as a small passion turned into a business, and now it is one of the Middle East's leading coffee roasteries delivering Specialty Coffee and brewing equipment to households and cafes. I enjoy exploring the MENA region to strengthen my knowledge of the wide spectrum of cultures by travelling frequently, and I roast my own coffee to fuel my quest in meeting my goal of making a difference!
