QMUL Dr. Mohammed Alshammari

Dr Mohammed AlShammari is an Assistant Professor and researcher in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, holding a doctorate from Queen Mary University of London. He is Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, where he integrates AI into medical education and leads community initiatives, including outreach and domestic violence screening. His research explores the link between healthcare and well-being, informing national policies and programmes.

Mrs Shaihana Alaqeel

University of Manchester

Shaihana is the founder of Kaleem, a non-profit dedicated to empowering people who stutter. Inspired by her transformative experience with the Starfish Project in the UK, she returned to Saudi Arabia to turn her personal struggle into a mission of resilience and empathy. Currently serving as Vice Chair of the Youth Impact Council Committee at the Misk Foundation, she has reached over 500 people across the GCC to support them.

Prof. Abdulrahman Al Lily

University of Oxford, University of Manchester

Prof. Al Lily, an Oxford graduate, is Vice President for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Research, and Graduate Studies at King Faisal University. He led the university to first place in US patents and secured its recognition as an Innovation District. He ranked it first nationally in empowering entrepreneurship, establishing a Science Park and achieving 170% growth in startups with a market value of USD 50 million. He made it ninth globally in clean energy research.
