Prof. Taghreed Abdulaziz Hafiz

Professor Taghreed Abdulaziz Hafiz is a molecular microbiologist and academic scientist who previously held a leadership position at King Saud University. She trained in the UK at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where she was awarded the Prof. Tony Hart Prize for Best MSc Dissertation. Professor Hafiz leads impactful research in infectious diseases and serves as a national consultant, examiner, and mentor for emerging researchers across Saudi Arabia.

Mrs Nouf Omar Al-Mubarak

My career is driven by the belief that design shapes human experience. After studying Interior Design Engineering in Riyadh and earning an MSc from UCL, I led major healthcare and urban projects in Saudi Arabia. As the first female Saudi Chair of Studies and Design at King Fahad Medical City, I delivered hospital expansions. Now at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, I lead cultural and urban projects that enhance quality of life, celebrate heritage, and create inclusive communities.

Dr. Fahd Ahmed Banakhr

Dr Fahd A. Banakhr is Director of the Yanbu Research Center at the Royal Commission of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. He holds degrees from the University of Nottingham, the University of Manchester, and a PhD from Loughborough University in Sensors and Instrumentation Engineering. He is an IEEE and ISA member, Chair of the IEEE IoT & Harmonisation Middle East Subgroup, and a visiting lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. His research focuses on smart sensors, IoT, AI, and intelligent control systems.
