Dr Shaihana Almatrrouk received her PhD from the University of Manchester. 

Dr Shaihana is the Director of Influenza & Respiratory Disease Centre and serves as a point of Contact to the World Health Organization (WHO) on laboratory issues relating to this field. Dr Shaihana Almatrrouk is also a course instructor in the Starfish project, the first Arab project and non-profit initiative that aims to help individuals who possess stammering issues in Saudi Arabia and abroad. Having struggled with this difficulty at an early age in her life, Dr Shaihana felt empowered to confront a problem that affects many through specifically designed courses and training support.
