Dr. Israa Hakeem is currently a visiting lecturer at the Forensic Science Training Centre of the Jeddah Police. She has volunteered at the Criminal Evidence Training Centre and designed and conducted workshops and specialized forensic courses covering a range of subtle topics such as forensic toxicology, body fluids and evidence collection to name a few. She has drawn on her experiences and knowledge gained from her studies in the UK at the University of Birmingham & Anglia Ruskin University to teach and benefit many university students of several different health specialties. In addition, Dr. Israa significantly contributed to the development of the Forensic Science Training centre and hosted several specialists to provide training courses at the institution. 
 

During her time at the University of Birmingham, Dr. Israa founded the first Saudi Student Society where she significantly contributed to the management of various programs, events and forums of the Scientific Society for Saudi Students in the UK affiliated to the Saudi Cultural Mission. She continues to contribute and promote positive and motivational content through her social media platforms and publishes her success story. Her Twitter videos have received more than a million views and garnered lots of positive feedback. She has also presented and provided information about her field of study and experiences in the UK by appearing in several TV interviews on major Arab channels.
